The Brilliant Incubator program is the launchpad designed for students and alumni seeking to transform their innovative ideas into real world solutions.
Participants gain access to a dynamic network of like-minded individuals, guidance, workshops, and pitch competitions with prizes, all aimed at sharpening entrepreneurial skills. Expert coaching provides the fine-tuning required to propel your idea forward.
Those interested in the podcast incubator get the added benefit of exclusive booking access to the Creators4Change Studio and its top-of-the-line audio recording equipment. As well as Remote recording software, AI-powered editing software, a royalty-free music library and sound effects, Online AI-powered graphic design software, a LinkedIn Badge, and an Official Certificate of Participation.
Through the program, participants validate their ideas, develop business strategies, and access a wealth of practical knowledge and connections. Participants also enjoy access to the Brilliant Catalyst on-campus space and resources, funding opportunities, mentorship from industry experts, and exclusive invitations to events in the Durham Region and Greater Toronto Area.
Those who choose to participate in the podcast incubator will leave with a solid understanding of podcast storytelling and the business of podcasting. They will emerge with a 10-minute, recorded, and edited pilot episode and an industry-standard project one-pager, ready for real-world pitching.

WHAT WE OFFER
There are a few streams of the Brilliant Incubator founders can choose from.
Founders can apply during the Fall or Winter semester to complete the Asynchronous Business Incubator programming at their own pace.
Founders can choose to apply for a 8-week Intensive Business Incubator for a more guided approach or, if interested in podcasting, for an 8-week Podcast Incubator. Both intensive incubator options occur during the Summer (May to August).
All streams are at zero cost to founders.

The Brilliant Incubator accepts business ideas of any industry, type (for-profit or non-profit), and stage (ideation, MVP, etc).
The Brilliant Incubator is open to all Ontario Tech students, faculty and recent alumni.
- Access to mentors, and experienced entrepreneurs.
- Access to large network spanning across dozens of industries.
- Opportunities for funding
To be considered for the program, you must identify as an aspiring Creator4Change. A Creator4Change is an individual who embodies the convergence of innovation, conscious creation, and diverse perspectives to drive positive social transformation. Ideas should ideally be geared towards social change.
